Our Approach
We created AORA to offer something different - a space that welcomes everyone, from those stepping onto the Reformer for the first time, to those seeking a deeper connection with their body.
Our signature classes are designed around two distinct approaches, each crafted to help you feel good in your body.
Our signature, multi-level reformer class. Redefining the classical method that blends mindful movement to strengthen, stretch, and align. AORA Flow uses controlled movements to give you a full-body workout which celebrates the joy of movement.
A high-energy reformer class blending Pilates principles with power, pace, and precision. Athletics builds strength, stamina, and intensity — expect longer holds, more reps, and that satisfying post-workout burn.
Designed for all levels, from beginner to advanced, our expert instructors carefully layer progression and modifications to challenge every level.
We focus on clear guidance, thoughtful sequencing, and a studio environment that's supportive, not overwhelming.

Our Instructors
Carly Wilshire
Carly is a trained mat and reformer instructor who first discovered Pilates as a way to support her running. What began as cross training quickly grew into something much more when she discovered how much Pilates transformed not only her recovery, but her entire relationship with movement.
She loves sharing this with others, creating a welcoming space where everyone can explore what their body is truly capable of. Her favourite Pilates exercise is the teaser - which you can expect a lot of in her classes!
Elena Wurlitzer
Elena is a California-born Reformer Pilates instructor bringing big energy and powerful flows to every session. Her classes are designed to challenge you, build deep strength, and leave you feeling longer, stronger, and unstoppable.
Expect creative sequences, an uplifting vibe, and the kind of full-body burn that transforms the way you move and feel.

Steph Parker
Steph is a qualified Reformer Pilates instructor who’s passionate about making movement joyful, inclusive, and unintimidating. Her classes focus on finding length, building control, and celebrating every small win along the way.
She brings clarity, kindness, and just the right touch of fun. Whether you're new to Pilates or a seasoned Reformer fan, Steph will meet you where you are and help you discover how transformative this practice can be.

Siw Egdalen
After relocating to Bristol at the end of 2024 from Copenhagen, Siw decided to take a step back from her career in academia and become a trained mat and reformer instructor. As an avid runner, she appreciated how pilates supported her strength and mobility while offering a low-impact way to stay active.
Siw's teaching style is engaging, intentional and eclectic and is deeply passionate about supporting her clients in empowering them with greater body awareness and confidence by the end of every class.
